This livestream will feature authors from the section Conceptual Frameworks that Enhance IFS-Informed EMDR. Presenters will explore several theoretical perspectives that deepen our understanding of trauma and support more attuned and effective integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with EMDR.

This is the third of a four part series introducing the authors of IFS-Informed EMDR: Collective and Collaborative Approaches.

This livestream will feature authors whose chapters focus on how IFS-informed EMDR is applied in real clinical settings. This is the fourth of a four part series introducing the authors of IFS-Informed EMDR: Collective and Collaborative Approaches.

This livestream will highlight creative strategies and innovative tools that therapists are using to deepen the integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR. Presenters will share practical techniques that support therapists in navigating complex systems, strengthening Self energy, and bringing greater flexibility and creativity into trauma treatment.

This session will focus on:

  • Integrating insights from Jim Knipe’s work into IFS-informed EMDR

  • Using the Fire Drill technique to work with therapist parts in session

  • Exploring the Circle of Self Energy as a resource for clients and clinicians

  • Working with imagery practices such as the Vessel metaphor

  • Incorporating equine engagement and experiential approaches into trauma healing
